Problem terminating a file (100%)
« on: July 14, 2005, 09:51:25 PM »

Since 2.0.3 i have troubles terminating some files (small and big files) : the file is complete (100%) but not renamed/copied to the share directory...
I can copy the .part file and rename it, and the file is ok... but it's quite annoying..

A small bug, but doesn't appear every time :-( strange bug...

are maybe some non-ascii chars in the filename?!

or do those files have anything in commen?

in fact, i could not find anything in common between those files, but i'm quiet sure that they don't have any non ascii char in their name...
i'll take care of that problem if it happens again, i'll try to find things in common...
nobody else have the same problem since 2.0.3???

Could you try to rename the file? Some non-ascii chars look like ascii chars.

I had some new problem with other files...
It seems that files containing accent like à, é ... used in french cause problem... In fact, files that have problems were containing accent...

Sorry for my english, quite tired, even at this hour ;-)

[edit] maybe it is due to my system (fedora core ) that doesn't really support renaming files with accent : yes i can't rename files with accent, so maybe the problem is amule can't write the file with its real name??

If you rename the file from within amule, it should work.
