Amulegui: unable to connect to amuled
« on: January 07, 2006, 02:52:18 PM »

I use amuled+amuleweb 2.1.0 (Linux slackware current). I want to also use amulegui win32 (XP SP2), but it stalls at startup. Status bar says "loading", server list is loaded, but nothing more happens (in particular it never says "connected to edonkey n°3" ).

I tryed to figure out where hides the problem and to be sure it is not my own fault. So here are the results of tests :

#netstat -l
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address           Foreign Address         State
tcp        0      0 *:4712                  *:*                     LISTEN

Amulegui lanched on the amuled machine (linux self compiled connecting localhost 4712) works fine.

Launching telnet 4712 to the amuled machine from win32 machine works.

Launching amulegui from win32 machine fails.

I have the same problems.

Look at this post (and the rest of the thread, of course).

Another variant of this problem is discussed in this thread.
