RPM for SuSE 10.0
« on: March 19, 2006, 11:37:01 PM »

RPM for SuSE 10.0:

http://rapidshare.de/files/15934187/aMule-2.1.1-suse10.i586.rpm.html

Compiled with:

./configure \
   --prefix=/usr \
   --mandir=/usr/share/man \
   --libdir=/opt/gnome/lib \
   --enable-monolithic \
   --enable-amule-daemon \
   --enable-amulecmd \
   --enable-webserver \
   --enable-amule-gui \
   --enable-cas \
   --enable-wxcas \
   --enable-ed2k \
   --enable-alc \
   --enable-alcc

- Uses wxGTK2 Version 2.6.3-rc2, Unicoded

- Built on SuSE 10.0, i586 using GCC 4.0.2

- Should work on x86_64 if you have these packages installed:

glib2-32bit
gtk2-32bit
pango-32bit
readline-32bit
xorg-x11-libs-32bit
zlib-32bit

These are probably already installed as dependencies if you're using OpenOffice.org or Mozilla. I cannot make native x86_64 packages at the moment.

- Might work on future SuSE releases unless there are ABI incompatible library updates

- Will not work on earlier SuSE releases because of GCC ABI changes

- Menu entries will be in Applications/Network/P2P

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please

Tho the rpms, using the original SuSE-10.0-wxGTK, seemed to run quite fine, here the updated version, built with wxGTK 2.6.3:matching wxGTK:Note:
The deprecated aMule-rpm, using the original wxGTK, SuSE 10.0 comes shipped with, is removed. Further builds, as well as the daily cvs-rpms for SuSE 10.0, from now on will be built with the current wxGTK2.6.3 until further notice.
