However, elder
official packages can be found browsing the project pages on
Berlios or
Sourcefourge.
So called "unofficial" or "user provided" distro specific builds are not supported by the aMuleteam, and usually not uploaded to the project pages. So, these builds are lost, if their maintainers don't offer them any longer. (This is, because noone of the team wants to be responsible for any user provided nice backdoors, trojans, problems, and so on, which
could be implemented by ugly ppl., noone can trust.) 8o
But usually one can ask the maintainers of the current files per pm, if, or where elder files are available. -
