aMule uploads problem
« on: April 23, 2006, 01:10:49 AM »

Hi everyone!

I just can't figure why this keeps happening...

I'm runnig Ubuntu, have High ID in all servers, port 4662 open, downloads, everything. It all runs great for a while (about 1 hour). Then amule starts to break the uploads (though in a less visible way, downloads too) as you can see in my attachment.

Tried "downgrading" to aMule 2.1.0, disabling Kad network, ed2k, changed Max Connections settings... but the results are allways the same... ?(

This happens with or without Firestarter. Tried to change some settings in /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ but don't know much about it and seems to have no effect.

Thoug it's not in the attachement, the problem seems to come and go, as it returns to sanity and comes back again...

Does it happened to anybody else? I've been hitting the wall for weeks now and just can't seems to figure it out why this problem happens.

Please help  :baby:

Well, I got it working.

Made some more tweaking in /proc/sys/net/ipv4 with the help of this

http://homelansecurity.sourceforge.net/script.php

It seems I had some filters disabled and some tcp configurations toggled for my net configuration. For now all seems working again.
