amule does not start anymore

I don't much about amule so please be «for dummy» in your tips and explanations.

I was using amule and azeurus at the same time (i guess its not a good idea) and my computer freezed, I had to restart, but now amule does not work anymore, when i click on the icon in the dock it flash then it stop, same thing when i click on the icon in my applications folder. does somebody how can i solve this problem thank you

I have seen that sometimes when you restart your computer abruptly like that, aMule corrupts its configuration file.  This file is located at Your Home > Library > Application Support > aMule > amule.conf.

Move this file to the Trash and see if aMule will start.  If it does, you will need to restore whatever settings you like in the preferences, because they were lost.

If aMule still doesn't start, I will need more information.  Open Applications > Utilities > Console.  Press the Clear button in the toolbar.  Now try to start aMule.  Copy what was written to the console.log and paste it into a reply to this thread.

Yes, but you should reduce the number of connections in both applications and you should have a upload capacity of at least 24, the more, the better.
But don't expect very good results with this combination (unless your upload is very high)
