Firewall problems: pls help!

Hi fellas, quite newbie guys needs help.

Well fact is that i swithced a coupla months ago, but still i hafta say that my first computer ever was a Mac, back in 1996. So it's not quite a new world to me, i mean i know how to use a Mac and stuff.

Problems rise with aMule: i got a cable connection (Fastweb  services for Italian readers), airport and aMule installed on my MacBook.

Arrows around the globe are still yellow and KAD is always firewalled. I been trying to read the faqs and help pages on the wiki and anywhere, but still i can't resolve this problem. I entered the "system preferences/condivision" menu on my MacBook, then moved to the "firewall" section and... i stop there. Can't move. Dunno what to do.

How can i make my MacBook pass the port test? Is there anyone out there willing to help?

Hey, we ain't professional nor paid for our support here, thus don't expect a very fast answer for your not-so-common problem. Not everyone here owns a Mac and Airport, neither do we have all the time of the world to write some tutorials. We've got work and a real life too.

Well, I don't have a clue about the airport and mac thingy as I don't own a Mac and can't help you, sorry. But there are some problems with your provider and aMule. (See this text in Italian for more information and maybe a solution) Please be aware of the patch not being supported here.

Nope.

THIS is the MAC OS X forum.

So that's why i asked.

If you don't own a Mac, then, i cannot understand whaccha doin in here.

anyway, thanks folks, i went to another forum and solved my problems.

Oh, and don't bother helping others with your awnser, we really don't want another users to dig up this topic by searching this board to solve their problem. We wan't them to switch to another forum and insulting us for not helping in time

Let's hope he learned his lesson (We're all ignorant, lazy fools here and cannot help anyway.) and won't dare to come back again.
