Always getting "Connection lost" or "Timeout"
« on: October 07, 2007, 01:07:56 PM »

Hi all. I'm sitting in front of my first Mac (Mini) with Mac OS X Tiger. Now I'm trying to use aMule but it cannot connect to a server. I tried severel server.met files. The necessary ports are forwarded through my router and the test at http://www.amule.org/testport.php is successful. I have absolutely no idea what to try next.
Please help me.

PS: Please don't refer to other threads, I've read and tried everything since 2006.

So remove all your servers, update the list with http://www.gruk.org/server.met add try to connect to saugstube or Em server No.1. If you have the same message it's probably because your ISP is blocking ed2k protocol.

Hi,

Sorry for my ignorance, but how to:

Remove all your servers.
Update the list with http://www.gruk.org/server.met
Add try to connect to saugstube or Em server No.1

Thanks.

ctrl click or right click 'remove all servers'. Then copy paste the http address next to servers and press enter. Choose razorback 3.0 and saugstube and right click mark them as static or connect to...
