INFO :
You will find here links for aMule 2.1.3 on Fedora 8.
This package use wxGTK 2.8 and do not need any non-official package.
Keep in mind that package is one of my first... So there can be problem with install. But it works/install fine on many of test computer i use.
Report any problem on forum or by mail.

FILES :
RPM can be downloaded here : http://baron-robert.tripod.com/aMule-2.1.3-0.i386.rpm
SRPM can be downloaded here : http://baron-robert.tripod.com/aMule-2.1.3-0.src.rpm
GPG PUB KEY ID is : 949b31f6 (Guillaume CHARDIN)
You can alternatively download it here : http://baron-robert.tripod.com/pub_key.txt

HOW TO INSTALL :

1) download pub key & RPM package to check rpm digital signature.
2) import the key into `rpm` database by using this command : #rpm --import "name_of_DL_pub_key"
(if you skip step 2, you'ill not be able to check the digital sign. and install the rpm)

3) install the software : #yum install ./aMule-2.1.3-0.i386.rpm
(use yum, because if there are package dependancies, it will solve it)

Then, you can use amule.   ;)

Regards,
Guillaume

Sorry but... was it worth the effort? Both Freshrpms and Livna provide such rpm since a long time...
Instead, an rpm of current cvs (svn?) snapshot would be rather interesting!

Fedora officially does not have the amule packaged up, and needs few libraries which are not installing for some reason, the version 9 and 10 are unstable and full of bugs, to say the least they turn to be nasty!  try to approach their forum to package the amule or at least the dependencies or libraries.
We tried everything with 9 and 10! after finally installing the amule it neither downloaded nor uploaded!  according to linux gurus there is one library that causes problem but I did note copy it down! Few people that use PClinuxOS and OpenSuse, seem to have no complaint .
