I'm happy to announce the release of aMule 2.2.1 - the "Excuse me, have you seen my 2.2.0 release anywhere?" version.

I want to highlight some features from the countless bug fixes and improvements made:
  • Protocol Obfuscation
  • UPnP support
  • Network protocol updated to eMule 0.49a (including large file support)
  • Kad 2.0
  • Improved skin support and country flags
  • Support for compilation with MS Visual Studio

For a complete list of bug fixes and new features, please see the changelog.

You can get the sources as always in the download section on the main page or via eD2k:

ed2k://|file|aMule-2.2.1.tar.bz2|4569813|1648F5FC3086A07CF11EB506C9BB863F|/

We will provide you soon with Mac OS X and Windows packages. For Linux and other operating systems, there are user contributed packages.

Edit: Due to some platform specific problems and the impending next release, there won't be official packages for this release. Please use user made Mac packages from here or here. Please ask for Windows binaries.
