Well, aMule is a simple program that doesn't require install. Like eMule, dump it in a directory and be done. To a Windows user I would have said "download the zip with the 2.2.5 app and extract it to your aMule directory" and good. With Linux, people are (rightly) afraid to mess up their package manager if they simply do that. Not to talk of all the fun with varying versions of all the dynamically linked libs...
