Problem with accentuated downloads
« on: December 07, 2004, 11:35:28 AM »

Hi everyone !

First, I'd like to thank the developpers for this great eMule client. At least we can use emule like PC users, no more jealousy about my friend's downloads !

So, there's some bugs to report. The first one, the application often crashes, but I can't tell you why, I don't know how to debug applications.
The bug I can explain is when we are downloading a file with accentuated caracters ("é", "à", "è", etc), the mule can't commit the finished download. There's an error message (sorry, I'm at work and I can't tell you precisely which one) that tells that the file can't be created.

To solve it, you must right click on the finished download, load the informations, rename the file without the accents, and restart aMule. Then it can commit it.
