i'm trying to figure out how to raise my low id to a high one,and i keep on hitting my head against the wall!
went to check in the faq,whitout much success in understanding more ...
can anyone help me to figure it out?

netgear is your router I guess....
so just read the manual of your router on hwoto forward a port (they often do examples with webservers port 80 )
and adjust this port to the ed2k ports in your amule-prefs, standart here is 4662 tcp and 4672 udp
