As a sidenode: I am unable to download amule osx from the server mentioned in the binary thread. Fortunally there is a (unmentioned) mirror at sourceforge.net
1. /Application/aMule.app/Contents/Resources/amule.icns
icns is the raster file format of Apple used for icons. If you have recent Mac, check developer packages included with OS. There in Utilities you will find so called "Icon Composer" application which can be used to create icns.
icns is compromised of 4 images with resolutions: 16x16, 32x32, 48x48 & 128x128. You can manually optimize image for every of this resolutions. Mac OS X will do its best to scale image to any other size automatically choosing the baset possible match.
Or alternatively to test icon appearance, just copy its content to clipboard, create some temp folder, right click on it, select "Get Info", click in properties window on icon to select it and press Cmd-V. This will change icon for folder - so you will be able to see icon in action. It is bit faster than creating real icon and putting it in application.
2. I can send you /official/ 2.0.0 Mac binary, Kry had posted - 3.5MB. Just drop me your e-mail.
