How to start compiling?
« on: October 01, 2005, 10:56:12 AM »

I would like aMule to work, that's all, but I don't know where to start compiling (actually, I'm not even sure about what compiling is). Can anybody tell me wich version I should download to use on OSX 10.2.8 and how this compiling thing is done?
Of course, I've read the forum and FAQs, but they talk about thinks I understand nothing about.

Check this:
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_compile_on_Mac
It has all you need to compile amule on Mac.

Cheers....

Well, it's not 100% certain that you can easily compile wxWidgets under 10.2. Have a look at this thread.

My personal recommendation is to get 10.3 -- regardless what particular Mac you have I can promise you that it will be snappier with 10.3 than with 10.2. You won't regret it. :)
