What is written to the console.log when it crashes?  Does it produce CrashReporter crash logs (in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter)?

If possible, run aMule under gdb and produce backtraces of these crashes, please.

Hmm.  Unfortunately, Mars_Artis, this appears to be a crash log from the crashdump process itself.  In other words, it's not a log of aMule's crash, it's a log of the crash of the program which was trying to record aMule's crash.  Is there a file called ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/amule.crash.log ?

Hmm.  Bummer.  It looks like your version of aMule doesn't have debug information.  I don't know if this is because lionel77 built it without debug info, or if you stripped it after downloading it.

No, it's my fault. My main concern was to provide Tiger users with a patched binary that delays the onset of the stuck connections issue. Since amule cvs runs relatively stable here on Tiger (in sharp contrast to Panther), I omitted the debug info.
I'll post the next version with debug info again.
