Hi,
würde gerne aMule auf meinem Server nutzen, ohne die GUI, also die Konsolenversion. Denn auf meinem Server ist keine GUI drauf.
Der Server läuft unter Suse Linux 8.1. Dafür gibt's leider kein RPMs und ich habe nicht die passende wxGTK drauf, um die Sourcen selbst zu kompilieren.
Hat das schon jemand für Suse 8.1 kompiliert oder muss ich selbst nach der passenden wxGTK fahnden und mir das Ganze selbst kompilieren?

wenn der gcc unter 3.2 is hast ein problem...

hmmm ... ich gebe nun ein: ./configure --prefix=/usr/ (laut Anleitung). Aber er sagt mir nur 'Permission denied'. muss ich da irgendwas besonderes beachten?

hast du es vielleiht als root entpackt und versuchst nun als user configure oder was ähnliches?

hmmm ... ne, irgendwie waren die Rechte zum ausführen falsch vergeben (gar nicht vorhanden). der ./configure-Befehl hat jetzt scheinbar geklappt. Aber make klappt jetzt nicht. da sagt er: '*** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.'

ok dann hat das configure nicht ganz zuende geklappt...
am besten du postest mal so die letzten zeilen hier was gekommen ist...

hmmm ... scheint so, als würde er den Pfad für die GTK+ nicht finden. Kann ich ihm den Pfad irgendwie manüll mitgeben?

Wahrscheinlicher ist daß dir das entsprechende -devel-Paket fehlt das amule zum kompilieren braucht. Noch wahrscheinlicher ist daß es sich nicht um GTK dreht sondern um wxGTK, aber das läßt sich erst sagen wenn du einfach die letzten Zeilen der configure-Ausgabe postest  |

richtig, ich bin beim wxGTK-compilieren (Version 2.6.2). Die letzten Zeilen sehen so aus: *** A new enough version of pkg-config was not found. *** See http://pkgconfig.sourceforge.netconfigure: error: The development files for GTK+ were not found. For GTK+ 2, please ensure that pkg-config is in the path and that gtk+-2.0.pc is installed. For GTK+ 1.2 please check that gtk-config is in the path, and that the version is 1.2.3 or above. Also check that the libraries returned by 'pkg-config gtk+-2.0 --libs' or 'gtk-config --libs' are in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH or equivalent. habe aber eigentlich GTK 2.0.6 drauf. oder schmeiße ich da jetzt was durcheinander? Gibt's irgendwelche Komponenten, die die GTK auf jeden Fall braucht und wo man als Windows-User, der einen Linux-Server über die Textkonsole administriert, nicht so ohne weiteres drauf kommt? |

ganz am anfang haben wir ja mal von der konsolenversion von amule geredet also amuleD
und dann hab ich dir den link geschickt wie man amuled compilieren soll....
nunja da steht für non-gui soll man wxBase laden NICHT wxGTK, denn wenn du gtk installierst installierst du ein komplettes x-system mit, was eigentlich komplett unnütz ist wenn du sowieso nur amuled brauchst
also entweder du läst wxBase, oder du installierst das packet pkg-config über yast
