Saving partial downloads

I am running OS X 10.3.5 on a G4 that is less than a year old. I have developed a hardware problem and must take the computer in for service while the warranty is still valid. I am using aMule 2.0.3. Before I take the computer in for repair, I intend to do a secure delete of the entire drive and reformat.
My question is this. How can I save my partial downloads so that I can reinstall them when I get the computer back from the shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

In 2.0.3, the default location for incomplete downloads was still ~/.aMule/Temp. You can check in the preferences (Directories -> Temporary Directory) if you changed this location.

Because of the leading dot in the folder name, the folder .aMule is invisible in the Finder. To view it anyway do "Go -> Go to folder" in the Finder, paste "~/.aMule" into the text field, and hit "Go".

Thank you Lionel for your kind assistance.  
Several days back, I went to the Temp file inside the .aMule folder, and removed some .part, .part.met, .part.met.bak, .part.met.seeds files...(all with corresponding names) from the Temp folder. I later tried to replace them back into that folder only learn aMule did not recognize them. I have made similar moves within other types of p2p’s that I have used, both on Mac’s and PC’s, with success. Of course it does not work that way with aMule. It never occured to me to simply remove the entire .aMule folder. Go figure!
You have really saved my keester on this one Lionel, and I am grateful.

On the other hand, it should work to move a set of .part, .part.met, .part.met.bak, and .part.met.seeds out of the Temp directory and then later put them back.  When aMule next starts up, it should see and load those files, as you expected.  I don't know why that didn't work for you.
