I will post an amuled binary the next time I post a new aMule CVS binary. This might take a week or two, though, because I want to wait until the codebase is completely stabilized again after some big changes that were implemented recently (e.g., large file support, etc.).

However, I'm not sure if amuled would solve your issues with ffmpeg stealing all the CPU cycles. I'll comment on that more extensively in the original thread.
