Loast all incoming files
« on: June 01, 2008, 06:02:54 AM »

Hello.
Weird thing.
I had to restart my computer from the restart button since my system froze as it does once in a while, aMule was running before it froze.

This time when I launched aMule to restart it I had lost everything. This time both the incoming and temp files were empty, everything was deleted. All configurations were reset to default as if I had launched it for the first time. Of cource I lost everything that was transferring.

There is absolutely no way the temp files (not to mention completed files in the incoming folder) could be deleted, except by a total failure of the filesystem (which would affect other files on the hd too of course).
Maybe just the config file got bad and points to default paths now ? And everything is still in that other place you configured some time ago ?

OK, thanks for your interest.
Where would I start searching for these files?
I did not lose anything else so ase you say they could be somewhere else.
But why did I lose the configurations?

Thanks

Hi,

could you please give us some details about operating system and file system used? Can you do a search on all files on e.g. 001.part?
