Newly added files does not find any sources!

Newly added files does not find any sources, I have to restart the program for it to start finding sources, tryed to stop/start the dowload but it didn't work.

Anyone has the same problem? Bug?

Have you tried to wait a bit? The time between requests is 5 minutes, and the new file will be added to the back of the queue, so it might take a little while before a request gets sent for that specific file.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that amule will never start the download if I don't restart it...

via ed2k link or search? or does this happen either way?

Hi people, same prob over here.

It seems to happen only when adding ed2k links manually,, it works just fine when you add a file via a search.

BTW what im sure of is that if i close amule and restart it, the files will get sources just fine (this is what i've been doing to get them to download).

Im on debian Sarge, i compiled wxGTK and aMule by hand following the wiki instructions.

And i would like to add that i've been doing some testing and now i'm not so sure that the files added via a search do find sources, to be honest i think that some work and some do not...  8o

I'll keep on testing, let me know if there is something you want me to try.

yeah me too noticed this behaviour, but simply reconnecting to another server does the trick

Doesnt work for me dude,, i tried disconecting and conecting to no avail, same thing if i double click on a server on the servers list, no matter what i do the files still dont get no sources.

By any chance, could you try to build a CVS snapshot? I just can't reproduce it locally, and I'd like to know if it's just me or if this is not an issue on current CVS.

try adding 10/15 more

Ive got 600, ive increased it to 650 to see how it goes, and im compiling latest CVS right now, will post results soon.
