A question in attachment (can't post here in russian  :().

... and by the way, do apps (such as 'amuleweb', 'amulecmd', i.e. console apps) display messages in russian correctly?

that depends on the user's system configuration. If the user has LC_MESSAGES set to something like ru_RU.UTF-8 then tehre should be no problem.

you can probably just do:
LC_MESSAGES=ru.UTF-8 amulecmd
I haven't tested, but that should probably work.
The problem is that the language part is handled by wxWidgets...
Greets!

It don't work. Do wxWidgets handle also command line apps?
The problem is only in command line, i get '(null)' msgs instead of russian strings, and all apps with GUI work fine...

ot:
i bet w/ qt you'd had the way less problems

as for 'hash' transliteration
http://www.multitran.ru/c/m.exe?a=phr&q=hash&sc=1&L1=1&L2=2
gives current (my) version
http://www.etersoft.ru/index2.php?search_method=0&option=com_dictionary&task=search&word=hash
gives both versions
google returns 21*10^3 for yours and 15*10^3 for mine.

i suggest we should also ask professional translators

but now i'm more and more inclined to your version so i'm postin here changed translation :-)

[~/aMule/amule-dev-cvs/po]$ make ru.gmo
rm -f ru.gmo && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o ru.gmo ru.po

I've asked for some help on IRC and added few strings.
What to do with 'A4AF'? This abbr. is used in translated eMule..."ZDF" sounds a bit more confusing :rolleyes:
2 Jacobo221: plz let shafff to check it before merging
